Spraying is the most commonly used method of direct application specifically with germicidal cleaner. The coverage area is larger and denser vs other methods.
Commonly used:
Outside Application (can be use inside)
Notifications:
Surfaces are left very wet compared to other application methods. Dwell time is usually increased by at least 15% based on prior experience.
Fogging is used predominately for inside application. Foggers generate a fog or mist formed of Ultra Low Volume (ULV) droplets which provide additional coverage that spraying is unable to reach .
Commonly used:
Inside Application (can be used outside)
Notifications:
Surfaces are left damp but dry within 5-10 minutes. Dwell time varies but is estimated to be 10 minutes depending on the manufacturer.
Electrostatic sprayers enable a quick and effective chemical application with nearly a 360 degree coverage area to cover hidden and shadowed areas. As fully-charged droplets hit the surface they create an even spread.
Commonly used:
Inside/Outside Application
Notifications:
Similar to Fogging, surfaces are left damp, but is a superior application method. Dwell time varies but is estimated to be 10 minutes depending on the manufacturer.
